John has worked for several years with Texas artist Tracy Hicks (www.tracyhicks.com). Tracy makes casts and molds from documented scientific specimens of amphibians to produce art installations that address the problem of world-wide amphibian population declines.  A Museum Loan Network grant to John and Dr. Marjorie Swann provided funding for an installation of Tracy’s art at the Hall Center for the Humanities at the University of Kansas
